SA Boat Trailers (Spitfire)’s core business and expertise is in re-trailering a wide range of premium and everyday fibreglass and alloy boats.
Many 15 to 20-year-old boats are still in fantastic condition but may have been modified since new. Equipment such as larger fuel tanks, new and perhaps heavier engines, anchor winches, and the like have been added. In addition, the way these boats are now being used has often changed. These factors are important considerations we take into account to ensure we provide the best outcomes and customizing for the new trailer.
We also work with boat manufacturers and marine dealerships whose clients have requested that their boats be paired with a new SPITFIRE Aluminum boat trailer.
We work with boats up to 8.5m and trailers up to 4500kg ATM. The unique design and innovation built into our SPITFIRE Aluminium Boat Trailers provide a user-friendly, safe, and proven Drive-On trailer capability – well above normal performance expectations.

SA Boat Trailers (Spitfire) facility and support
Our workshop is at Angle Park, just 15 minutes northwest of Adelaide City. We are next door to Sports Marine on South Road.
We build our SPITFIRE Aluminium boat trailers using key components engineered by SPITFIRE and local sourcing as required. We have invested in a 4-ton boat lifting gantry to safely and professionally set Client boats onto our trailers. We consider correct boat and trailer setup critical to ensuring happy boating experiences.
Our SA Boat Trailers (Spitfire) customers range east to west from Yarram in VIC to Ceduna in SA, delivering trailers, loading boats onto the trailers, and providing direct support as required.
We welcome visitors to our Workshop, preferably by appointment.
